The Crucible

I was very sad to read that Arthur Miller passed away last week. =(

Me too. I actually went to see a production of his adaptation of Enemy of the People a few days later, and the house manager mentioned that even Al Jazeera was mourning the loss. Miller truly influenced the world.

Oh gosh, I have the funniest story about that. Of course, I was completely depressed the day he died, but even more so because I was performing in The Crucible that night. And I was in the courtroom scene, running around screaming about the yellow bird, and I left the stage all lightheaded. About five minutes later, I was walking behind the cyc to get to the other side, and it was pitch black, and I thought I saw his ghost because I guess I was so lightheaded I was hallucinating, and I PASSED OUT behind the cyc... crazy stuff... anyway, I'll always remember dear old Arthur now.
